LI African American Chamber Outreach To Suffolk County Businesses

Suffolk County, New York – New York State’s largest African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (LIAACC) has launched a special outreach campaign for small business owners and professional service providers to join the chamber commerce by initiating a 3 year campaign to recruit professionals into the chamber.

“This campaign offers a significant campaign for small business owners and professionals located in Suffolk County to benefit from joining New York State’s largest African American Chamber of Commerce which has the county of Suffolk in its service territory.

In 2019 the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. was named the New York District Office of the United States Small Business Administration 2019 small Business Champion for 14 counties in Downstate, New York.

The New York District Office serves the counties of New York City, Long Island and the downstate counties of Duchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester.” Phil Andrews, President, Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc.

In Suffolk County, the African-American population was 103,232, or 6.91 percent. That number rose to 108,973, or 7.3 percent.

The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. looks forward to bringing quality programs to the County of Suffolk such as a recent small business boot-camp which was a joint partnership between our chamber of Commerce and SUNY Old Westbury School of Business.
