Two LIAACC Members Honored at Young Gifted And Black Awards Gala

Brooklyn, New York – On Wednesday February 27, 2019 two LIAACC members were honored at the prestigious Young Gifted and Black Awards Gala hosted by Carl Gray. This year’s member honorees included the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc’s Health Chairman Kevin Byrd and LIAACC’s member Andrea Massop Ramos.

Honorees also included Susan L. Taylor, Editor-Emeritus Essence Magazine honored with the Life Time Achievement Award, Yolanda Felder, Award Winning TV Show Host, International Speaker, and Personal Brand Strategist honored with motivational Speaker and Empowerment Awards. The gala also honored a host of other honorees in a variety of categories at the Red Carpet Affair.

Past member honorees that this prestigious event includes LIAACC’s President, Phil Andrews awarded with the Power “N” Motion Award and Georgia Woodbine, Author, Speaker, and Life Coach with the Entrepreneurial Business Woman of the Year Award.

About: Andrea Massop Ramos – Andrea Massop Ramos is the Founder and CEO of Healthy FRIENDZ Nutrition. Andrea is a clinical Nutritionist and a Personal Chef from Westbury, New York. Andrea is currently the Health Chair of the NAACCP, Westbury Chapter, and active member of the LI African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Long Island Chapter and she serves on the Advisory Board of the North Shore Child and Family Guidance Center.

Kevin Byrd – Award Winning Actor, Healthcare Chairman LI African American Chamber of Commerce/BrownByrd Foundation

About: Kevin Byrd – Kevin Byrd is a Multiple Award Winning Entertainer and Global Prostate Cancer Health Advocate. On several occasions Niagara Falls has been lit in honor of the work his foundation at Brown Byrd Foundation. The Utica City Common Council passed a Law/Resolution and designated an Honorary Street in Kevin Byrd’s honor call the BROWN/BYRD LANE on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in Utica, New York. Mr. Byrd has served as the Health Chairman for a local New York chapter of the prestigious International Organization 100 Black Men and currently serves at the Chairman of Health for the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (New York largest African American Chamber of Commerce)

The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce has appeared on WABC Here and Now, NBC’s Positively Black and has been featured in Black Enterprise Magazine.
