(LIAACC) proudly winds down its milestone 15th year, the organization reflects on a decade and a half of measurable impact, strengthened partnerships, and transformational programs that have advanced economic empowerment across the region. Since its founding, the Chamber has become one of the most influential voices for minority-owned businesses in New York State, earning local, state, and national recognition for its leadership and service.

This year marks not only a celebration of history, but also a renewed chapter powered by dynamic leadership who continue to guide the Chamber to greater heights.


Top 10 Achievements of LIAACC (ICYMI)

1. Expanded Regional Influence Across Long Island & New York State

Over 15 years, LIAACC grew from a local business organization into a regional powerhouse supporting entrepreneurs across Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Brooklyn, and beyond.

2. National Recognition as a Top-Performing Chamber

LIAACC was named as one of the Top Finalist by the United States Black Chamber, Inc. which recognized its exemplary leadership, innovation, and service to Black-owned businesses.

3. Record Number of Business Certifications, Procurement Assistance & Technical Support

Thousands of small businesses have benefitted from LIAACC’s support, including assistance with MWBE certification, government contracting, and access to local and state agencies.

4. Launch of the African American Small Business Foundation, Inc.

LIAACC established a robust nonprofit arm dedicated to entrepreneurship training, youth business programs, financial literacy, technical assistance, and year-round community advancement initiatives.

  • Vice President Rose Ward, owner of NFocus Management Group, LLC and SCORE Counselor has assisted the chamber in running a more efficient operation impacting membership, programing, planning, and external affairs.
  • Jordon Isaac Suffolk County Director of LIAACC and Owner of Cornucopia Business Consulting has enhanced the chamber’s outreach in Suffolk County along with other Executive Leadership & Board Members, who bring expertise in business development, community engagement, finance, entrepreneurship, and organizational growth.
