The campaign is part of LIAACC’s robust campaign to help foster the growth of small business owners in New York State the Long African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc.’s Chair of Membership has launched the chamber’s 2022 – 2025 membership campaign.

SBA was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, preserve free competitive enterprise and maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has three primary focuses Access to Capital, Counseling, and Contracting at the core of its mission. The SBA is a great place to start for small business owners seeking to grow their companies and many companies rely of the SBA to help grow their businesses to scale.
Under Deon Brown’s leadership the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc.’s membership has grown in both scope and size. The ultimate goal of our chamber is increasing support of its membership and continuing to provide quality services to help their businesses grow to scale.Deon’s passion and drive has allowed her the title of top recruiter for 9 years at a $3.5 Billion global corporation.
Deon has volunteered her time by participating in numerous community outreach programs for adults, college students and high school students. She has partnered with several of the local high school business classes to conduct mock interviews and career counseling.
She started Exceptional Staffing Group in 2015 and became certified with the State, City, and the Federal Government as a MWBE (Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise) certified woman owned CEO.
Deon’s entrepreneurial spirit allowed her to always have multiple streams of income by being a business owner in network marketing, real-estate and owner of Exceptional Staffing Group and now part owner of ESG Supplies. In love with life, she enjoys being an empowerment advocate for others to find their career and purpose in life.
