LIAACC’s Campaign To Boost Certified Minority Business Owners

During its monthly “Business Card Exchange & Breakfast Series”, on January 10, The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. announced a campaign to increase the number of Certified Minority Business Owners in its member network throughout the counties it serves.

The announcement at the Business Card Exchange and Breakfast Series, at Loli’s Soul Food Restaurant in Hempstead, is aligned with the Chamber’s mission of advancing and promoting economic development for businesses in the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Queens and Kings.

The Special Guest speaker Judith Tyne, Associate Dean of Hofstra University, who led the discussion of “New Business Opportunities for 2014” on the benefits of being a certified Minority Business Owner.
